Fast, precise, and damage-free fiber installation through conduit systems of every type and configuration — from single-duct laterals to high-count cables through complex multi-way duct banks.
Once the conduit is in the ground, the fiber has to follow. Axiom Fiber Optics's fiber installation crews are experienced in both traditional cable pulling and modern air-blown jetting techniques, allowing us to select the optimal method for every section of your network.
We handle fiber of all counts and jacket types — from lightweight 12-count single-mode for short lateral runs to 864-count armored cables for long-haul backbone routes. Every installation is performed with tension monitoring, bend radius control, and complete as-built documentation.
Air-blown fiber (ABF) jetting is the fastest and most cable-friendly installation method available for conduit systems. Compressed air and a small piston propel the cable through the duct at high speed with virtually no tension placed on the fiber itself — protecting delicate optical elements and enabling long continuous pulls without mid-point assist equipment.
Axiom Fiber Optics operates multiple fiber jetting machines and is experienced with all major micro-duct and standard conduit systems. Our jetting crews routinely achieve installation rates several times faster than traditional pulling on compatible routes.
For larger-diameter cables, long-standing conduit systems, or situations where jetting isn't optimal, Axiom Fiber Optics's cable pulling crews bring the right equipment and technique to protect fiber integrity throughout the installation process.
We use calibrated pulling winches with real-time tension readout, proper swivel connectors, and pulling lubricant application to keep tension well within manufacturer limits for every cable type. Sheave wheels and mid-point assist equipment are deployed wherever the route geometry demands.
Fiber installation doesn't end when the cable reaches the far end. Our crews handle all cable management at splice points and termination locations, including proper slack storage coiling, cable support and securing, conduit sealing, and complete as-built labeling.
Maximizing the capacity of existing conduit systems is a cost-effective way to expand network reach. We install innerduct and sub-duct products into existing conduit to create multiple pathways for different fiber cables — organizing and protecting each cable independently while sharing the same outer conduit.
Not sure whether pulling or jetting is right for your project? Our team will assess your conduit system, cable type, route geometry, and schedule requirements to recommend the most efficient method — and we'll back it up with a firm installation rate estimate.
